Huguang Guild Hall

湖广会馆 (湖廣會館, Húguǎng huìguǎn)

This magnificent complex of houses, prayer houses and shops was built by immigrants from the southern provinces of Hubei, Guangdong, Guangxi and Hunan during the Qing Dynasty. The Huguang Guild Hall was the center of life for these people for more than 200 years.

How to get there

Take the CRT Line 1 to the Xiaoshenzi Station, from which it is a 10-minute walk. In the vicinity is the Yangtze River Cableway and Chaotianmen.
